Parkeergarage Designer Outlet Roermond

Brink Steel Group supplied the steel structure for the multi-level parking garage at Designer Outlet Roermond. The garage provides approximately 3,500 parking spaces and was built in two phases. Together with the surrounding parking areas, it forms one of the largest parking facilities in the Benelux.

The parking garage has a modular layout with repeating bays and slender steel columns. This creates long spans, wide parking spaces, and a limited number of columns on each level. Visitors drive one-way and park at an angle, which results in a logical traffic flow, good visibility, and a safe feeling in the garage.

We supplied and erected approximately 2,800,000 kg of steel. The steel structure is coordinated with the selected parking system, including concrete floor slabs and light-colored ceilings. As a result, the garage feels spacious and bright, despite its large volume and intensive use.

The project required tight scheduling. The outlet center remained largely open to the public during construction. That is why we used a high share of prefabricated components and smart erection logistics. This allowed us to build quickly and safely, with minimal disruption for visitors and the surrounding area.
